Is this you?

If any of this sounds familiar

You can't remember the last time a day was just yours. You're capable, caring and good at holding everything together — but somewhere in the middle of all that doing, you quietly lost the thread back to yourself.

You're the one everyone relies on

You're capable and caring, and you carry a lot for other people. Somewhere along the way, all of it became a responsibility and none of it became yours.

Rest feels like something you have to earn

You can't remember the last time a day was simply yours, and when a gap appears you quietly fill it with doing.

You're tired in a way sleep doesn't touch

Not only physical tiredness — more the flat, heavy kind that's still there after a good night.

You've stopped asking what you want

You could list exactly what everyone else needs. Your own answer takes much longer to find.

You know this season isn't quite right

Something has shifted, or you've outgrown something. The next step just isn't clear yet.

You keep putting yourself last on the list

The rest, the pause, the day that's just yours — always something to move to next month.

You know something needs to change. You're just not sure what, or where to start.

My intention for this day is simple: that you can put everything down, breathe out fully, and remember who you are beneath all the roles you carry.

Sarah, founder of Lazy Yoga and your host for the day

A little about me

I'm Sarah — I'll be with you all day

I'm the founder of Lazy Yoga — a yoga teacher, retreat host and coach based in South Wales, hosting sound baths, day retreats and workshops across Cardiff and beyond.

Like many women, I've had seasons where life felt overwhelming, and I learned that slowing down wasn't a luxury — it was what changed things for me.

In my coaching I'm not here to fix you or hand you a plan. I listen, ask honest questions and hold a calm space where you can hear yourself think again — and find your own answers.

"My intention is always the same: to create a safe, welcoming space where you can breathe deeply, let go of the outside world and simply be yourself."

The process

Three pillars the day is built on

Ground the body first

We begin with gentle, body-led movement. When the body settles, the mind softens and honest thinking becomes possible again.

Look at your life honestly

Using the Wheel of Life, you map every area of your life clearly and kindly — what's working, what's quietly draining you, and where your attention is really going.

Let it settle, then rest

A guided visualisation and a closing sound bath give the day time to absorb, so you go home with quiet clarity rather than a long list of things to do.

The day

How the day unfolds

01

Gentle movement

Gentle, body-led movement to release what you've been holding and bring you back into your body before we do anything else. Clarity doesn't come from thinking harder.

02

The Wheel of Life

A tool I use with my coaching clients. You'll map every area of your life honestly and see it clearly — what's working, what's quietly draining you, and where this next chapter is calling.

03

Honest coaching

Questions designed to cut through the noise and help you hear what you actually think and feel, not what you're supposed to. Not therapy — spacious, grounded coaching presence.

04

Magic mirror visualisation

A deeply restful guided experience where you meet the woman you're becoming, and let her show you what's possible.

05

Live sound bath

Gentle sound to calm you and drop you into a level of rest most of us rarely reach.

06

A nourishing lunch

Good food, real conversation and women who completely understand. Nothing to perform, no one to fix.

How you might feel

There is no right way to feel. This is simply what women often notice — and whatever your own day feels like is exactly right.

During the day

As the day unfolds

You can arrive exactly as you are

Busy-headed, tired, unsure or quietly hopeful. Nothing needs to be tidied up before you come, and nothing about you needs to change to belong here.

Some moments may feel tender

Looking honestly at your life can bring things gently to the surface. You'll never be pushed further than feels right for you, and there is always space to pause, sit quietly or step outside for air.

There is ease woven through it

Warm food, unhurried rest and easy company. Nothing to perform, and no one to look after but yourself.

Afterwards

Going home

A softness, more than a buzz

Most women describe feeling settled and quieter inside rather than energised. The closing sound bath tends to leave a lasting hush.

You may feel sleepy

A day of deep rest and honest thinking can be tiring. If you can, keep the evening slow and gentle.

Clarity that arrives in its own time

Some things land on the day itself, others settle in over the weeks that follow. Both are welcome, and you're always welcome to get in touch afterwards.

The honest questions

You might be wondering

These are the things women ask me most before they book. No worry is too small or too silly.

"I'm not sure I'm the sort of person who goes on retreats"

There's no sort of person. Women arrive on their own, a little unsure, sometimes a little nervous — and most settle within the first hour. You'll be met exactly as you are.

"I don't know what I want to work on yet"

You don't need to. The whole day is designed to help you find that out gently. Arriving with no answers is the right place to start.

"I might find it emotional, or not want to talk"

Nothing is compulsory. There is always space to sit quietly, step outside for air, or pass on a question. You share only what you want to share.

"I've never done yoga and I'm not flexible"

That's genuinely no problem at all. The movement is slow, supported and entirely on your own terms, with blankets, pillows and plenty of rest.

"A full day feels like a lot to give myself"

It is a big thing, and that's exactly why it works. A whole day is what allows the slowing down to actually happen — and you still have your evening, quiet and free.

"I'd be coming on my own"

Most women come alone. Lunch and the in-between moments are gentle and easy, and no one is ever asked to perform or make small talk.

In her own words

Elaine arrived feeling much the same

"Working with Sarah has been an absolutely transformative experience. The admin side of setting up my wellbeing business had become a source of mental clutter and overwhelm for me. Sarah's calm, grounding presence provided the perfect anchor. She has an intuitive ability to recognise exactly where I was becoming stuck and gently guided me to break down challenges into manageable, bite-sized tasks. Her approach to accountability is rooted in kindness - she kept me aligned and on track with my goals without a single shred of guilt. Sarah didn't just help me organise my business, she helped me protect my own wellbeing in the process and taught me tools and techniques that I will be able to integrate into all aspects of my life."
— Elaine, coaching client
