A guided coaching workbook · £9
You've known what you want for a while. It's the first step that's hard.
I Know What I Want… So Why Am I Still Stuck? — a workbook for the days when it's hard to know where to begin, and you'd like one gentle place to start.
Six short steps, in your own time. Sent straight to your email after payment.

Sound about right?
The changes you've been turning over…
- Leaving the job that's worn you thin
- Starting something of your own
- Getting on top of the week
- Saying no without the guilt
- Finding an hour for yourself
- Settling the question you've been going round and round on
You're certain something has to shift.
Somehow the days fill up and nothing quite moves.
- You're tired in a way a weekend doesn't fix.
- Your head is so full you can't hear yourself think.
- You've read every article going and still haven't chosen.
- You make a plan on Sunday and the week eats it by Tuesday.
- You buy a new notebook, and it's blank after page two.
- You say yes before you've checked whether you want to.
- By nine in the evening there's nothing left for you.
- You've been thinking about it so long that thinking is all it is.
And the same few sentences run through it:
- Monday. Definitely Monday.
- Once things settle down.
- Once I've got myself sorted.
- I'll look at it when I'm not so tired.
- It's not the right time yet.
- I just need to think about it a bit more.
None of that means you've done anything wrong. It's just what a full week does to a good intention, and it starts to lift the moment you sit down with one honest page and a pen.
You're not behind. You just haven't given yourself the space to answer yet.
What changes
Not a new personality. A different week.
Now
You go to bed with the list still running.
Once you've worked through it
You put it down, knowing it will keep till morning.
Now
You've been thinking about the same change for months.
Once you've worked through it
You've made one move towards it, and you know the next one.
Now
You're waiting to feel ready, or less tired.
Once you've worked through it
You do the small version now, tired or not.
Now
You ask three other people what they think.
Once you've worked through it
You trust your own answer enough to act on it.
And here's the strange part.
You already know. That was never the problem.
Knowing and doing are two different things, and the first step is the one nobody helps you take.
Which is why I made
I Know What I Want… So Why Am I Still Stuck?
It isn't a planner with nicer paper.
There's nothing to keep up with, and no streak to break.
And there's no long list of new habits you're supposed to take on.
What it is: six short steps, a page or two at a time, in your own handwriting. Light enough to pick up when you're tired, and it ends with one thing to do rather than twenty.
Inside the workbook
Six steps, one at a time
Nothing to keep up with. You go at whatever speed the week allows, and put it down when you've had enough.
01
Stop
Put the list down for a minute and breathe.
02
Look back
Notice what you've already got through.
03
Name it
Say out loud what you'd actually like.
04
Find the reason
See what's really holding you back: the fear, the should, the guilt.
05
Pick one
Choose the one thing that matters most right now.
06
Take a step
Leave with something small you can do this week.
What's in the pages
Everything that's on your mind
One page to empty your head onto, no sorting allowed. Then a look at what's actually yours to carry, and what can wait.
A look at each part of your life
A moment with each area: work, money, relationships, family, health, fun, growth, home, time for you. Then a gentle look at what stands out, and where you'd like things to feel different.
More of, less of
What you want more of, what you've had enough of, and where you're giving away more of yourself than you meant to.
The things you tell yourself
The sentences you repeat, like I'm too tired or I'm not ready, and how to check whether they're a fact or just a thought you've got used to.
Where you'd like to be
How things feel now beside how you'd like them to feel, and what you'd be making space for.
One thing to try this week
Your next step scaled down until it fits a real week, with room to write down what happened seven days later.
And when the step doesn't happen?
That isn't failure.
You look at what got in the way, and whether the step needs to be smaller. No marks out of ten, no starting again from the beginning. Just a way forward that fits the week you actually have.
A few months from now…
- Wake up without the same argument running round your head.
- Have enough left over at the end of the day for yourself.
- Make a decision without ringing three friends first.
- Say no and not spend the week feeling bad about it.
- Have one part of the week that's just yours.
- Get going on the thing you've been talking about for months.
You look back and think: it's different now. Not because you became a different person overnight, but because you stopped waiting for the right moment.
I'll get to it. I just don't know where to start.
Here's what I want.
Here's why it matters to me.
Here's what's been in the way.
Here's the one thing I'm doing this week.
And I've started.

Who wrote it
I'm Sarah. I made this so it wouldn't take another year.
I'm a life coach and yoga teacher, and I started Lazy Yoga in Cardiff. Most of the women I sit with are in the same place: they know something needs to change, the week is full, and one more thing to take on feels like too much. So we make it small.
My work covers two things at once. The practical side, working out what you actually want and what's been in the way. And the body side, because tiredness and tension make everything harder to think through. We don't treat those as separate.
I wrote it down as a workbook so you can have that conversation with yourself at home, in your own handwriting, at whatever pace your week allows.
It's a gentle read, not a hard one. Nothing in it is there to open something up and leave it open, and you'll close it with one thing to do, not a list.
I Know What I Want… So Why Am I Still Stuck?
A workbook to go through at home, at your own pace, in your own handwriting.
Just £9
You don't have to sort out your whole life at once.
You only need a place to begin.
